Why did they end the amanda toon

People stopped viewing in and they got rid of the show......i wish they didnt,i loved tht toon :'(

The Amanda toon is an American live-action sketch comedy and variety toon that aired on Nickelodeon from October 16, 1999 to September 21, 2002. It starred Amanda Bynes, mannetjeseend, drake Bell, and Nancy Sullivan, along with several performing artists who came and left at different points, such as John Kassir, Raquel Lee, and Josh Peck. The toon was a spin-off from All That, in which Bynes had co-starred for several years. The toon was unexpectedly cancelled at the end of 2002, according to creator Dan Schneider's blog. networks like nik and disney only tape a certain number of shows and then stop filming them to keep new shows coming and going. This way the toon end on top, boven instead of being pushed out like other shows. Lizzie Maguire is an example.

as for amanda's show? after being beat door other shows in the same time slot they ended her and she . . .

Soon after ending her skit toon she started filming what i like about u with jennie garth. After a slow start it became meer populair in it's seconde season and had a good, but too short for me, run on the CW.

Ok, first I wanna say the toon didn't end with a reason. Let me tell u why!
Ok, "The Amanda Show" was first aired in 1999 and ended in 2002. The toon for some reason was unexpectedly shut down. So.. "Drake and Josh" was later put with the cast of Josh Peck....Drake Bell......and Nancy Sullivan. Those three members where on the Amanda show. Josh was on season 2 and 3, Nancy was in 3 and mannetjeseend, drake was in all!
The reason everyone thought that " The Amanda Show" was canceled was because of the poor aantal keer bekeken and there negative commentaren about it and they also thought that the guy who made the toon zei and I quote, " to many shows".
There is a mystery but the number 1 reason and I have seen it all is that people grew out of it and called it ridiculous and preposterous!

I don't know. Maybe it was the loss of viewers like the person above said, & the ratings went down. :(

oh my god i loved loved that toon i watched it all the time it really sucks that the ppl got it off because it wasn't getting enough ratings :(

i wish thay didnt i loved it and watched it all the time thay shud mak a new one but amanda is to old now

I think Amanda probably grew out of it, and went on to What I Like About You.

Amanda got promoted to a tv toon What I like about you

about 2007 becouse she got to old for it and she got a other toon what I like about u

she got to bored and sick of it
