8 AMAZING PICS from One Direction’s Hangout & why Zayn Malik’s relieved!

The One Direction boys hosted a Google Hangout earlier today, and it was a lot more swish from the livestream events we remember from the old days.

Back when the band started out they shared videos taken on the stairs of the X Factor house, or filmed in the back of a car, but today it was all a lot more professional than that.

Many recent interviews with the band have seen the singers complaining about how manic things have been for them of late, however what was refreshing about tonight’s chat was that all the lads agreed that things are actually easier now than when they first started out.

“I think we had to work really hard back in the day to get to the position we are in now and it’s quite nice to go on tour now….we get a few more days off. It’s actually kind of backwards in a way. It’s got a bit more simple now I guess.”

“It did feel at the start, I remember that first American promo trip, relentless. It was three weeks on the trot…. It was so manic, it doesn’t feel so manic any more. It’s more structured I suppose.”

Zayn Malik is relieved that he finally gets the chance to see the new countries they visit, instead of being jetted from city to city without a break. He continued:

“We have got a bit more time….like when we go to these amazing countries we get to actually spend a bit of time there. It is a little bit different in terms of actually taking things in.”
