I loved watching this. You can really see/feel their emotions when you actually watch the interview instead of just reading quotes from it.

It's nice to hear their side. I have much more faith in them now, that they'll still make good music and remain the close friends that they are. I also love how Hayley was still so down to earth, even talking about such a dark topic.

I really want to give the three of them a hug.

[just my thoughts on this whole drama...]

Hayley could have done that solo act from the very beginning and could have easily gone down the Avril Lavigne road, but she didn't. Or... she could have just taken the Taylor Momsen route by hiring and firing band members as she pleased and take the easier ride on the 'coattails of her dream'.. or even the Selena Gomez and The Scene route. Ahem. Instead, she chose to be in a band with friends, which imo, is definitely the tougher path (who likes band drama that involves people that you're close to?). You can say that I sort of admire her for that. She could have just left the band after Josh and Zac's departure and go ahead with the solo act but then again, she didn't. And as for the band, manufactured or not, has produced music that I've loved until now. Hating on a band just because it's 'manufactured' is ridiculous. Love the music, just embrace it. Don't need to pinpoint every 'flaw' behind a band's formation out. Geez. Business is business and it's only natural. Nothing is smooth-sailing. If you don't want to be part of that business, then don't be. I appreciate the contributions that the Farros have given to this band but honestly, I rather have them pulled out earlier if they were unhappy with the contracts and with what was going on in the band than to be the glum, sour plums of the band for years.

What Josh did was immature and unnecessary imo. All his anger that was directed to Hayley (and her family) could have been handled privately (don't need to see those dirty linens being washed in public) but he chose to let it go on his personal blog and at the same time, tarnish the band's name with all the snide comments, especially regarding the band's formation. He has been with for years and from my view after reading his blog, it seems like he wants to bring down the band with him. I appreciate him telling his side of the story but it could have been done in a classier manner (jmt) and whether his statement is the 'real truth' or not, it doesn't matter (to me at least). There's no such thing as the 'real truth' behind this drama. There's just two different sides of the story. Two different views but one story.

As for Hayley, she has done/said stupid things and blah blah blah. Tell me who hasn't.

I'm neither on Team Farro or Team Hayley. That is just childish. There's no need for these teams. I'm just in support of the band's music. Period.

I would have to agree with that. That's why I was kinda confused after Josh's blog... if she was really treating the whole thing like a solo project, why wouldn't she just go solo? She could do it any time she wants, really, but she doesn't.

Edit: I also love how they all cracked up when he was reading the "manufactured product" part. Lol.

There's far too many flaws to josh's statement and the way paramore handled the last word interview they clearly chose the moral high ground and handled the petty rubbish he came out with very well.
It clearly wasn't easy i would have been pissed if it was me but in the end he is the one who came out of this looking bad. he shouldn't pull the religion card unless he can practice what he preaches, he would have been better to turn the other cheek (ha i'm really not in the no religious wise) and leave with dignity instead of childishly trying to pull down everything all of paramore worked to create and not only saying to fans we're leaving but also hey the band is a sham...cheeeers josh..your not bitter at all. bit like if i can't be here then you shouldn't have paramore either....real mature.
sigh and picking out things hayley may have done as a 14 year old really is scrapping at the bottom of the barrel.
Least now paramore has cleaned its house and has people who all want to move in the same direction, plus hopefully the going solo rumors will stop now cos she really couldn't have found a better excuse for going it alone than this.
think things can only get better for paramore now and i can't wait
