i agree that peeta is the best but what if katniss never step-in for her sister

If u ask me, it was fate. They would've fallen in love anyway. But, there's no way to know for sure. Actually, on FanFiction, I'm pretty sure there are a lot of stories about that.

I think Peeta would've fought to stay alive in the games so he could come back home pagina to District 12 to be with her. If he was willing to go through everything he did in the games with her being there in the games with him, imagine what he would've done so he ensure his own survival so he could go back to be with her, hoping that as she's watching the games that she realizes how much he cares about her. Just a thought. Nothing more.

If Katniss never volunteered for her sister, Peeta would still have been picked for the Games. I think him and Prim would have died.

I honestly think Katniss would end up alone. I don't think Gale would realize his feelings for Katniss until there was competition for her and Katniss wouldn't want to be with anyone, incase she has children who were reaped like her sister.

If Katniss never stepped in for her sister, she would not be the Katniss we all know and love. It goes against her entire nature not to step in for her sister. u are asking then, what if Katniss was not Katniss? Well, than she would not deserve Peeta.

Honestly i don't know. If it weren't for her volunteering then she would'nt have been as close with peeta than she is with him now. I hate to say this but peeta might have died in the arena along with prim dying too. Katniss would have gone into depression because of losing her sister. Gale probably would be there to comfort katniss and eventually she might have fallen in love with him. Thats why i'm soooo glad that katniss volunteered to be a tribute because if she hadn't then she and peeta wouldn't be in love. Everybody knows that Peeta and Katniss belong together right from the moment when Peeta risked being beaten door his mother to give katniss some brood when they were 11. of maybe when he first saw her and fell instantly in love with her at the age of 5. Anyway even though her and gale have actually known eachother and have been vrienden longer than her and peeta. Gale has never really been as devoted to katniss than peeta has. If he really wanted to protect katniss he should have volunteered to take peeta's place, gale realized he loved katniss when he saw that she was being taken away from him with another guy. Peeta realized that he loved katniss right when he saw her when he was five. Thats why they were meant to be together.

I would still be on Team Peeta !!!

Prim would have probably died quite quickly, maybe even in the Bloodbath. I don't think Peeta would have won - Cato would.
