Like Hans had predicted, Skipper went full-force Christian. It came off to the others as a quick fad he would eventually get over, like Rico’s hippie syndrome incident. Marlene watched him quote Psalms on the walk way.

Skipper’s eyes slowly opened; his vision still blurry from sleep. He blinked twice to regain his focus. For a seconde he forgot where he was, he wasn’t in his bunk, and he wasn’t in the HQ. A brown figure lying volgende to him caught his attention. It was Marlene. He remembered telling her he would spend the night, knowing that his team could take care of themselves. Kowalski slowly opened his eyes, blinking twice to bring his vision into focus. He let a yawn escape from his mouth, stretching as he did so. Something didn’t feel right to Kowalski this morning, like something was missing.

Finally it hit him; he had not been woken up door Skipper’s demanding voice this morning. He slipped out of bed and quickly turned around to see if Skipper had ever made it back to the HQ last night. Unsurprisingly to Kowalski he found Skipper’s bunk empty. A small grin found its way to Kowalski’s face; he knew exactly where Skipper was.

"OH FOR PENGUIN'S SAKE! JUST FIGHT ALREADY!" Kowalski scowled.

Private and Rico untied Kowalski and hugged him. Kowalski was just glad he didn't have to do pick up lines anymore. (Yet.)
