I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Princess Diana memorials in disrepair as anniversary of her death approachs | Royal | News | Daily Express
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Earl Spencer has come under fire for the state of Princess Diana's grave at Althrop [GETTY/MARK KEHOE]
Princess Diana’s former chef accused her brother Earl Spencer of “neglecting” her final resting place on an island at his Althorp estate.
Darren McGrady posted several pictures of Lady Diana\'s grave, with comments including: "Sad to see Earl Spencer @AlthorpEstate has neglected Princess Dianas resting place".
The memorial, which stands on an island in the middle of a large pond, looked tatty and moss had begun to grow on it.
This "flame of liberty" became the unofficial French memorial to the People\'s Princess in the weeks after her funeral.
The sculpture was covered with images and notes of remembrance and many bouquets of flowers left.
The torch now bears many scratches and the wall behind, once covered in tributes, has been daubed with graffiti.
The official Paris memorial for Diana is a 1,200 square yard flower and vegetable garden designed for use by school children.
While a nice idea in theory, many criticised the £930,000 "nature initiation centre" as a mean and inappropriate tribute.
It is now overgrown in several places and many of the benches are looking increasingly dilapidated.
This stream running through Kensington Gardens was designed to reflect Princess Diana\'s love of children and intended to allow paddling.
There was some controversy over the memorial, however, after several people were injured after slipping over.
Alteration projects were also carried out to prevent surrounding grass from becoming waterlogged and turning into a muddy quagmire.
The Memorial Garden in Belfast remains well kept [IG]
One of the more successful memorials, this garden continues to attract visitors and is well-kept.
Unlike the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Woodland in Leicestershire, roses continue to grow abundantly in the plot.
Over 950,000 visitors enjoy this free playground every year and many feel that this memorial perfectly reflects the Princess\' love for the young.
The park has become so popular that a queueing system is sometimes necessary, with waits of up to an hour.
