a question....1st 2 answer gets props(if i figure how @ give one xD)

The easiest way is to post on someone's uithangbord and while you're writing the post there will be 2 buttons at the bottom of the writing space. One is for your mood and the other is to give a prop. click that and choose your prop!

Go to one's wall. Then act like u are giving a comment. Find the two things that u can click on. The first lets u insert an emoticon and the seconde lets u click and insert a prop. Your welcome!
