What is it with u people and Anime?!

Seriously, I've been on here for like, a maand of something now and lots of people like their anime. I like it aswell but I'm not obsessed of whateva with it :D Whats so great about it? :)

Such as Higurashi, which is meer of less for kids 13+ in Japan, and it would probably never be shown in the U.S. due to it's graphic nature.
It's all in what the anime can supply to fit my likings.
