Has anyone else ever felt this way...? :/

Okay, so for some reason I can't wait until I'm married and can have a child of my own.... The idea of growing up has always disgusted me and still does, but for some reason I just want this one thing, even though I'm only 13.... I've never told anyone about it until not. I'm gonna try to consult my mom and my sister about it since they're both parents and could help me with this shit... I mean I see how happy my niece makes my sister and her husband, and how happy me and my siblings make my parents and I just am so excited to feel that happiness for myself eventually.... Long story I know, but still, has anyone else ever felt this way at an age close to mine...? Is this normal? :/

I've seen situations like this before, and I think that it's normal. It's also understandable that u find growing up to be unfavorable; I don't want to grow up either. There's a friend of mine who is in the same situation, and wants to have a child of her own. A lot of us don't believe it's the right decision, but if she really wants to have a son of daughter already, that's her choice.

I'm not going to overstep boundaries here and say the whole "OMG you're too young!" crap, like some people I've seen start. I do encourage u to continue on with your plan of talking to your mother and sister, and I hope that u can get the antwoorden that u need from them. I can only tell u so much.

It's not like I'm actually PLANNING to get pregnant now, I'm just impatient about it all.

I felt like that for only about a week when I was I think 14.... It's completely normal, and knowing u I'm gonna guess it's just a phase and you'll get over it soon, so if I were u I wouldn't worry. I'd still talk to mom about it, though....

Yes I know the feeling. I felt that way myself when I was..

..11..Or even 9. Bah.

Now, kids get under my skin faster than bangin' Bacteria. They're loud, obnoxious and terribly spoiled; sure, they're cute in the beginning, but after a while u get nothing from them but powerful Migraines and a messy home.

Hell, your feet might also become a useful device for finding Legos in the dark. >B|

And GOD; don't get me started about all the money you'll have to spend on those pesky brats!

I'm telling you, I'm not sure if I'll ever be ready to start my own family. Not only do I hate kids, I'm also very hostile and hateful when it comes to men (the REAL kind of men). Yeah yeah of course I'll have a Boyfriend of two (one dag in the future..), but on the long run I prefer to fly solo and live as a happy (probably also a virgin forever) Individual.

No kids (and while we're at it, no childbirth pain), no unnecessary relationship drama; just me, my mental issues, my dogs and my imaginary boyfriends.

@ someone_save_me: Amici = Friend/Friends in Italian. @ pumpkinqueen: I know, I know; thing is..This.."Hatred" seems to block my mind. No matter how many times I try to convince myself that kids aren't that awful, it's almost as if I won't listen to myself (Bipolar much?). I don't know how I will feel in the future, but this is how I currently feel.

Trust me, you're not alone. I've been planing it out since I was littie and I keep adding to it. I want to get married, be an animator and a director. We're going to live on a farm with cows, pigs, and of course horses. We'll have three beagles named Lock, Shock, and Barrel. Two cats named Jack and Sally. We'll even grow some of our own food, like carrots and potatos. And finally we'll have 5 kids. Three boys: Daniel, Allen, and Envy. Two girls: Winry and Emily. I can't wait to have my own family and really start my life.

Yeah, I think 13 is a very normal age to feel that. I don't think u need to "consult" anyone. It's not a bad way to feel; it's perfectly logical.

I felt the same exact way a jaar ago. I wanted to have a family and stuff, but I didn't want to deal with the other prospects of growing up. But recently all that changed and I don't even want to get married until I'm in my late 20's at least, and I don't ever want kids. Maybe a son. So I can't really help u with your problem, but I don't really see a problem there.
