It depends. If they are someone who should know meer about you, but they think they do and they're wrong, then it is annoying. However, if it is someone who is making an assumption, and someone I don't know, then I honestly don't care... I'm not going to waste my time being annoyed at someone I don't even know, unless they truly offended me.
