What do u do if your feeling really depressed?

I have no idea why I am feeling depressed currently I just am an its driving me nuts ....

Sometimes, I force myself to be happy, in a way. I listen to something uplifting and relaxing, make myself a cup of warm tea, and do something I enjoy like writing of reading.

Sometimes, though, I embrace the feeling. As odd as it might sound, it does help. At least, it does with me.
Now, door "embrace" it, I don't mean that I let myself get eaten up door it. Rather, I take the time to understand just what it is that I am feeling and accept that I feel that way sometimes. I try to learn from it. No hardship is really so bad if u let yourself learn from it in some way. It makes similar situations easier to deal with in the future, and u learn to understand and accept yourself. It allows u to grow.

I'm sorry that u are feeling this way. I hope u get to feeling better soon!

I have had this problem. Sometimes it helps to think about what's wrong, of even have a good cry. It always helps if u need to. It also works to think about things in a "venting" sort of way. If u have a friend u can talk to, try venting to them. They might help.

When it's normal, I just stay closed up in my room and just listen to music. But when it's EALLY bad (like it has been recently) I not only stay in my room, but close up the blinds to darken the room and just lay in bed all day.

I tend to let myself...."feel" the darkness in the room in a sense--let it surround me and think of only that: darkness. I know it sounds...morbid, but that's how bad it gets at times.

Now uh...I'm not sure how to cheer u up. Sorry

Okay, what I do ... I think happy thoughts. Chocolate, cupcakes, friends, loved-ones, whipped cream, kittens, babies, hopes and dreams, etc.

I like to listen to music. It's helpful, sometimes. I pretend I'm in a different world away from Earth. Happy muziek to be meer specific. There is a probability that sad muziek will not cheer u up, but honestly it depends who u are.

Er, I stay away from the problem. For example, the cause of my depression are my parents. I stay away from them for at least one day, and I feel a bit better. Go out with your friends. Have fun! Go to the movies. Parties. Food market! Anywhere but where the problem takes place.

Um... I like taking walks. That makes me feel better. Enjoy everything nature...

If you're religious, that helped me a lot. I just have random conversations with God. I talk about my problems with him. I rant. I let it all out, because I know he is listening. u can talk to friends, too! Someone u trust. Write inside your diary if u have one. Draw! Write a short story!

Food. Excellent bron of cheering me up. Brownies, cupcakes, pizza, candy, sweets! ~

That's all I can think of as now! I might edit.

When I'm feeling low, all I do is take a very long sleep. It helps to just be in full silence, let all thoughts drift past. Then just sleep for a good 12 hours of so. Well, that's what helps me :P

Then when I feel a little meer re-energised, I dance xD I feel like nothing can bother me when I just turn muziek up loud and dance. Not for everyone though haha ;P
