Help someone! please.

ok my friend has been texting me about his parents and how they got a divorce and stuff and how it has hurt him. my parents rnt divorced (yet, eventually they will, i gotta feeling.), so i dont know how to reply, and i always end up just saying that i feel bad for him and that im sorry, but i no thats not helping him any. he told me that the divorce was the reason he hated his life, why he has trust issues, and why sometimes he feels he has no point in life. im really worried about him and i dont know what to do. ive told my parents about it, but they zei its nothing. i really need help on what to do.
 Help someone! please.

I really dont know. But I think I would tell him that even though his parents are divorced now nothing will really change. He will still continue seeing both of them.I bet his parents still love him the same. And tell him to not ruin his life because of that, life continues.Try to make him feel better door telling him the positive stuff like he will probably get meer money and gifts now.And if he knows that his parents are happier now he should be happy too.I don't really know because my parents aren't divorced.I hope I helped at least a little.

Try telling him he shouldn't worry about it.It's just something that happens some point in life; and it's something he should try and get over.I'm not trying to say he is weird of anything, but if it is hurting him reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy bad, then ask to try and not think about it for a while...and see if it gets any better.

sincerely,

My parents just seperated after being together for 19 years so I know that it's really hard...I had a mother and father everywhere I went and now I don't....Just try to be there for him and make sure he knows that this isn't his fault it's life things like this happen and his parents weren't meant to be but he was...Try to keep him company and get him away from it and distract him from all the stuff that is going on and make sure he knows u care about him and that. u need to make him understand that his parents divorcing has nothing to do with him, that it's not reason to give up on life and that just because his parents didn't make it doesn't mean he won't be able to make a relationship work. Just make sure u spend time with him and make sure he doesn't say meer worring commentaren if he starts saying stuff about taking his life of not wanting to be here u might want to go to a counselor at school...Remember if u need any meer advice ask me and I hope I helped at least a little because I know how it feels for him right now it sucks....
