Am I the only normal person who hates Valentine's Day?

i don't know if u could consider me normal but i don't care for Valentine's dag much either.

i call it Hallmark's Holiday. if you're going to express to someone that u love them then u should do it everyday and not just one specific dag out of every year. tonen love on Valentines dag is fine as long as thats not the only dag and u also really mean that u love them and its not just some gifts to keep your partner from fussing at u and to compensate for your lack of real love.

Oh i hate it too, you're not alone. That reason makes sense.

The only reasons i like it are that i get candy and i reject people. many people.

Oh I hate Valentine's dag as well. I makes me sad to think of all the people who will commit suicide today.

I'm not necessarily a fan of it, but I love sappy romantic stuff, so it's like I'm required to like it.

I do find it ironic, though, that Valentine's dag is about love when the real Saint Valentine had died with anything but love.

He was beaten with clubs and stoned; when that didn't finish him, he was beheaded outside the Flaminian Gate. He'd been killed so brutally because he'd helped Christians at his time who were being persecuted for being Christian, and at that time helping Christians was taboo.

Stupid Atheists found him out and murdered him.

I don't hate it! Although I sometimes get depressed on this day, I always love the painted hearts everywhere, the candies, the flowers, the texts in the mobile wishing lots of love. Of course we should celebrate love everyday, but is it bad loving someone meer for one day?

I hate it too, and New Years. There so pointless.

I don't hate it of love it. First of all, it makes people who have just broken up feel horrible. If u just broke up with your bf of gf and they've already found someone else, watching them be all lovey on Valentine's dag will probably just make u want to go home pagina and cry.

For people who just have no "relationships" it means absolutely nothing. They feel the love go around, but they can't be part of it. It's just another dag of the jaar to them.

And for those in a relationship, if u give each other gifts on Valentines, it will make all the other days have lesser love, of so the couple thinks.

Overall, it's just another dag to make couples give gifts, of else they don't love each other. Single people just find this to be another day, so it shouldn't mean much to me.

I used to love it because of the chocolate and fun cards with mazes on them but now I don't like it because I don't get chocolate anymore :(. And I might like it better if I found the "One."

I only like it this jaar is because it's on the same dag as Lunar New Year...

I used to freaking LOVE it cause u know when u were little and u would make the"mail boxes" and then at the class party go around and pass out your card to everyone and it would all be great u would get tons of candy and those little converasation hearts that taste like chalk.... now it just makes single people fell like shit....so i dont hate it but its not my favorite.

I fell the same way... it is the worst hoilday in the year.. personally it looks like some to people would look to each other every dag of teh jaar not just one DAMN time I mean it looks like u would want a bloem and chocolate every day... It makes me mad...
