Ok so I might have mentioned before how bushido and religion of other ethics might go against each other. Well like I said, just because your parents think its true doesn’t mean it is but at the same time just because a bunch of samurai zei its true doesn’t mean it is. Look inside yourself and think to yourself as to what is true. maybe something will come up that will toon u what is true of not, but remember life lessons are never direct because its not like some wise old man is going to toon up on your doorstep and teach u all the truth. speaking of truth I did hear a quote "the...

Martial arts in the real world.

Well as u all know swords aren’t used in the military anymore so just what do people do with martial arts now. Well if u live in a bad place like an over populated city with gangs the gangs tend to like to use knives. If u know proper marital arts u don’t have to fear knives, only the possibility of them having guns

Aside from that marital arts are able to teach u to think under pressure making it easier to handle stress at the job place.
Marital arts teach us ethics; a friend of mine who studies fencing told me that the school...

Chapter one
All great samurai begin as only a learner.

“Ryuu, Ryuu:” it was the call from my one and only friend Sauka Sakura. I saw her running up to me with her usual smile and with all of her energy. “Hey Sakura what’s up” I zei “your father wants to see u Ryuu” she said. I wonder what my father would want to see me for; he is a samurai and unfortunately doesn’t have much time to spend with me. I pick up my bokken and put it in my belt, Sakura grabs my arm. “Come on lets go” she says exited. Ever since we met when we where little kids we did everything together, we have...

The samurai and the knight, honorable fighters form history long gone but not forgotten. The legacies of both honorable fighters live on in modern martial arts and ethics. I have of course mentioned bushido and chivalry, in addition to that we now have kendo, jiu-jitsu, and fencing and boxing as available to us, all of these are part of the samurai and knight legacy. What else though do we have now to remind us of each fighter? the arms and armor of course.

The knights typical arming included heavy armor with a shield and a straight double sided sword along with knowledge of hand to hand combat...

ok so my girlfriend likes to do poetry and she told me about a kind of poetry called definition poetry so i decided to try it. she knows about me and bushido so i made a poem about bushido to see if i was doing the definition poetry right. i sent this poem to her and hallo what do u know i did it right on the first try. so this is my bushido definition poetry and im sorry the seconde chapter of the young samurai is taking so long.

bushido
what is bushido

honor above life
the way of the warrior
Gi (Rectitude),
Yu (Courage),
Jin (Benevolence),
Rei (Respect),
Makoto (Honesty),
Meiyo (Honor),
Chugi (Loyalty)

thats bushido
i like to use bushido because the other alternatives are chivalry witch is too easily corrupted, a made up code of ethics witch is not proven to be effective and often isn't and no ethics witch is how u get hypocrites like the ones in the government.

bushido was studied door the samurai of japan for hundreds of years and was the motivation for many things to happen that made japan the way it is. bushido has 7 virtues with honor being the most important.

Gi (Rectitude),
Yu (Courage),
Jin (Benevolence),
Rei (Respect),
Makoto (Honesty),
Meiyo (Honor),
and Chugi (Loyalty)

also in bushido is seppuku,...

Chapter IV
We all have our own truths and our own lies
After the fight Daiki, Sakura and I stayed in the nearby shrine for the night and got up early in the morning. I looked over at the corner of the room that I had my swords placed. Daiki had his swords volgende to his bed and Sakura had her tanto placed with my weapons. I really felt like taking a bath this morning but I don’t know if I will. I walked over to my swords and picked up the katana and sat volgende to the wall. “I guess it’s veilig to say Daiki and Sakura won’t be up for a while” I say to myself. I look over to Daiki’s broad...

Chapter II
The value of life lessons is surpassed only door the value of life itself.

The shine of the sun can be seen through the holes in the walls after all, my dad is a poor samurai and I am distend to grow up the same, of at least that’s what my dad tells me. It may be against the normal ways of the government but I think the shogun may promote me if what I do for him is important enough. It’s not like I wan to live my life as a samurai that is as poor as dirt like my father. I hear a knock on the door. I get out of bet feeling a little bit light headed. I pick up my swords and put them...

Chapter III
A friend is a friend even if you’re differences are great

The samurai’s name was Daiki and he has no surname because he severed all ties to his family when he thought that they where a disgrace to his personal honor and from there on he did nothing but travel and sharpen his skills at swordsmanship. Other than the samurai part he isn’t much like me, he has an interest in the western nations and even has a western concealed knife, as for me I hate the west and live only for Japan and I have a Japanese sword. He also was once the son of a rich samurai and I’m the son of a samurai...

the samuria where masters of many weapons, one samurai may know how to best use a katana, odachi, yumi, yari, naginata, chokuto, and to do it all on horseback

the iconic weapon for the samurai is the katana, the curved sword of the samurai and 100% pure japanese. this weapon was made to be razor sharp, sharper than any European sword at the time. the katana had a blade about 27 inches long in the blade and 11-12 inches in the handle, with this long handle the samurai could take advantage of leverage and make a much harder swing. during the edo era of japan the sword forgers made the tsuba (handguard)...
