Sarah Michelle Gellar will "never push" her children to be actors.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer star - who has Charlotte, seven, and Rocky, four, with her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. - says her children won\'t be following in her footsteps as they suffer from stage fright.

She said: "It\'s different because I wasn\'t the child of someone that was in the public eye, and so unfortunately I think the rules are different.

"I think there\'s a very different pressure for \'the children of\' ... They can decide what they want to do for themselves. I\'ll never push them. But, in the meantime, they have to stick to schooling. My kids have too much stage fright anyway."

The 39-year-old actress has had a great marriage to Freddie, 39, and says the secret to their successful relationship is to "put the effort in".

Meanwhile, Sarah previously revealed Freddie makes her a better person.
