It's not uncommon for the most dangerous villain in a franchise to be built up for a long time. Some films won't give their biggest villain a chance to shine in their first film, while some shows will keep their biggest villain hidden for entire seasons. For example, the big villain in Avatar: The Last Airbender didn't toon his face until the third and final season. Also, Pokémon's biggest villain, Giovanni, was hidden in the shadows until the 63rd episode of the series.

If u were to ask me who the best classic superhero is, my answer would certainly be the Batman. In the 1940's, Bill Finger gave Batman the heart, charm, creativity and colorful imagination that made the character stand-out amongst his superhero companions. In the 1960's, William Dozier and Adam West took the Batman franchise to new levels of greatness. While Batman became even meer populair in later decades, Batman started losing the wholesome charm and colorful campiness that made the character so wonderful in the first place. Reboots have become a common thing, but that doesn't mean that people love reboots. It has become common for reboots to be frowned upon door fans for not being as good as the original and for being made to make money rather than to make something worth watching. However, that doesn't mean that all reboots are bad. This review is to highlight a toon that is not only better than the toon it's rebooting, but is also one of the greatest shows I've ever seen. That toon is She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, a 2018 Netflix/DreamWorks toon that's a reboot of the 1985 She-Ra toon done door Filmation.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is a reboot of the She-Ra franchise. The original She-Ra toon came out in 1985 and the reboot started in 2018 and the show's fifth and final season came out in 2020. I have a LOT of passionate feelings about this show, so if I seem like an overly-enthusiastic fan, that's because I am.

My History With She-Ra

My first exposure to She-Ra was the 1980's He-Man and She-Ra Christmas special. I watched that special, when I was a kid, because I was a fan of He-Man and Skeletor. I barely knew who She-Ra was, at that time.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is a 2018 TV toon that is a reboot of the 1980s She-Ra TV show. However, critics and fans have claimed this toon is much different than the original show, in a good way.

The Plot

Adora is a teen, who was raised door the Horde. The Horde is an evil organization, but Adora was taught to believe that the Horde was a heroic team, that was meant to defeat the vile princesses. In reality, the Horde has been trying to dominate over the princesses and has been doing lots of evil acts. Adora grew up being best vrienden with Catra, a fierce, but caring ally of Adora.
