I know this is super late, but I just had to say what an amazing episode 4x07 was.
DEx wasn't the best thing I know... But Stelena is looking meer and meer like endgame to me after each episode. We learned that Elena is sired so none of her actions were really "Elena's". I strongly believe that when they break the sire bond (which I'm sure they will) that Elena will return to Stefan.

Elena finally came to her senses and confessed that she doesn't want to be like Damon and that who she really needs is Stefan. And that was beautiful.

I was so proud of Stefan for standing up for himself and telling Elena that he was upset.
