its a book written door stephenie meyer about a time in the future, when aliens from all over the universe invade earth and just a bout eliminate the human race. the character is a alien who takes over an adult "host", of body but she can hear the thoughts of the girl who owns the body after she had taken over her "host". so then they go looking for the human girl's brother and true love, who are in hiding from there aliens. i hope this answer helps =)

the host is another one of stephenies boeken i didnt really get it but then my vrienden explained it to me apperently there are aliens and it goes from now the the past to present to the past but it was still good.
