why did the cullen' become a vampire?

they didnt choose to become vamps carlisle was bitten, and edward was dying from spanish influinze so carlisle saved him, esme was dying because she jumped off a cliff so carlisle saved her, rosalie was dying she was raped and beatin so carlisle saved her. alice and jasper joined the cullens. alice was bitten door james, and jasper was bitten door maria to become a solider to whan her territory.

Because once, Carlisle was bitten, so he knew his father would kill him. He went to the vampire that did it, and turned into a vampire.

For Edward, he was dieing. His Mom told Carlisle,"Save my son. With the powers u have and no one else does.". Because she was about to die in like a minuut there. So Carlisle changed Edward in the morgue.

Carlisle changed Esme because she jumped off a cliff. He loved her and didn't want her to die.

Emmet, Rosalie, and Jasper, well, I don't really know there story. I think Emmets has something to do with seeing Rosalie in the woods...

And Alice. At first, she didn't know how she became one. But in Twilight, she finds out that James, the bad guy, turned her into one after watching the video he made.

Bella got turned into a vampire door Edward. Because, if she didn't, the Volturri would've killed her and Edward, because they promised to change Bella.

Resmee, we all know, was never changed. Bella and Edward had her, so she was atomatically a vampire.

Rosalie~She was beautiful as a human, and her parents set her up with this really rich guy. She was walking home pagina one night when her fiancee and his drunk vrienden found her. They beat her up and left her dying in the streets, and then Carlisle, Esme and Edward found her. Carlisle bit her to save her, and she's hated being a vampire ever since.
Jasper~He was a general in the army for the south in the civil war. He was out patroling one night when 3 vampires showed up. 2 wanted to kill him, but the other, Maria, saw potential in him as a vampire, so she bit him. They lived in Mexico, and they raised newborn vampires to start an army to revolt against something that I forget. Then he saw a newborn begging for death, and he hated what he had done to all those newborns, and he ran away. He went into a diner one dag and Alice walked up to him and zei "I've been waiting for you." They got to know each other, then they went to live with the Cullens.
Emmett~I'm not 100% sure about him, but I think he was hiking and a beer found him and attacked him, and Rosalie was hunting in the area, and she heard Emmett call for help, so she ran over and killed the bear. Then she carried Emmett all the way back to the Cullen's house, and Carlisle bit him. He fell in love with Rosalie and the rest os history.
Carlisle~He lived in London in the early 1650's. His dad led revolts against the city's vampires that lived in a sewer and the dad died, leaving all his money and his property to Carlisle. Carlisle was leading a revolt one night when the vampires came out and killed all of the humans, leaving Carlisle to die in the streets. Carlisle crawled into a cellar filled with potatoes and stayed there for 4 days. Then he came out and realized what he had become, and he tried to kill himself, but that was pretty hard, so he built up an immunity to the scent of human blood.
Alice didn't remember anything from her human life.
Edward~Dying of Spanish Influenza in a hospital in 1917, where Carlisle found him. Carlisle bit him and he became a vampire.
Esme~Yeah, she jumped off a cliff, and Carlisle found her, and he didn't want her to die, so he bit her.
