New ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay’ Posters Are Propaganda for the Districts

In one of the more intriguing advertising campaigns in some time,

franchise finale with some propaganda surrounding representatives from the districts in Panem.

These posters are quite striking, and represent a varied collection of citizens from each of the respective districts. For instance, District 7′s lumberjack sports an incredibly detailed wooden prosthetic to substitute for his amputated leg, while Distritc 12 presents us with a little girl fresh off her job in some coal mines. In effect, it illustrates just how harsh things have gotten for Katniss Everdeen’s home district, despite all her success. Is some of the clothing and fashion gimmicky and over-the-top? Of course! But it’s also positively stunning. Check out the full posters below:
