And now that Katniss Everdeen is leading a rebellion against the Capitol in “Mockingjay — Part 2,” things are going to get even more dire for people who like being alive.

But not everyone gets to go out in a blaze of glory, or with a beautifully tragic sendoff like Rue did. In fact, most of the times when people die in “The Hunger Games” franchise, it’s the worst kind of death imaginable.
