"Hey Soda! u got mail!" Darry called from the kitchen. u put down the comb and sat at the tafel, tabel as the letter is tossed in front of you. Slicing open the envelope u begin to read, "Sodapop Patrick Curtis. We would like to announce that u have been drafted into the United States of America Army and will be a part in fighting the Vietnam War. Your departure datum will be the 23 of May and will be a 4 jaar term. This is an extraordinary honor and we wish u the best. Sincerely, The United States Government" u slump in your chair and begin to shake. May 23 is only a maand away....
