Episode 15 of CW's "The Vampire Diaries" revealed some shocking moments including Bonnie's arrival to present dag Mystic Falls, Caroline flipping her humanity switch and Damon realizing his mother is stuck in a prison world.

Last week, The Vampire Diaries zei goodbye to Sheriff Forbes, a loss that leaves Caroline without a mother—in fact, without any living parents. And in Thursday night’s hour, Mystic Falls gathers to pay respect to Liz Forbes.

There were so many things I loved about this hour. It had the dramatic impact that comes along with saying goodbye to a beloved character; it had multiple twists; it had romance; and meer than anything, it had 10-year-old Stefan.
