The cast is good, too, but I hardly ever watch a movie just for the cast. I think the overall plot sounds interesting so I want to watch it. :)
Though, to be honest, the reason I watched the trailer in the first place was partly to do with Johnny Depp, but still lol

I wish I could see this movie now! The original was quite innovative and I feel the innovation continues for this one. Sure this is on a little less serious note(comedy)Original with its seriousness would be a little hard to swallow for people these days. Even though I am 49, I was too young to understand Dark Shadows back then. I was fortunate to watch it from beginning to end on Sci Fi a few years ago. Am sure Johnny Depp watched it then also as it seem he captures a lot of Jonathan Frid's behaviors! For once we will finally see the Collin's business. The original only discussed it and the audience was never privy to see it! TV's were almost never shown also. So some new aspects for us old fans! Johnny Depp, please stop lying about running home to watch Dark Shadows, you were way too young! You were only 5 years old when it went off the air! I think your GREAT!!!!
