*If* Bella married Jacob how would he support her financially?

From Modern Studies Textbook, I quote: 'Many young American Indians on reservations don't graduate from high school. Unemployment rates and birth & death rates are higher then the USA average. The suicide rate is twice that of the USA as a whole.
The most common form of high pay is to open gambling casinos in states where gambling is illegal.'

Clearly in the Twilight Saga, Jacob didn't graduate from high school, he looks after his disabled father which means if he did have a chance to go to college he would have to stay behind and look after his father.
As "mechanic", there is has been no evidence he earns any money.

Also, Jacob & Bella's marriage can't be based solely on love,it's impossible as nice as that idea sounds.

No where in the Twilight saga did it say that Jacob didnt graduate from high school....he took a break yea...but with Nessie being so smart..she would have pushed Jacob into finishing school...the Cullens probably would have tutored him....and if Bella would have choosen him...she would have totally made sure he graduated. And Billy was in a wheelchair because of diabetes...he could still look after himself....

And had Bella choosen him...it wouldnt be as though she would just sit around all dag not doing anything...she would have gotten a job as well.

Though, let's not forget that Bella's reason for marrying Edward was not for money. Nor for the fact that he was a vampire.

Money wasn't really a priority for Bella. She was just following her hart-, hart :)

Idk if Edward would have left. He'd always want to be where Bella was. Even if he couldn't be "with" her, he'd still want to protect her and know that she was safe.

Billy is a grown man. He can look after himself. Jake always talked about how he needed help all the time but just because he is in a wheelchair doesn't means he's incapable.

In the Official Illistrated Twiliht Guide, it sayed he had a part-time job at the reservation shop.

Besides, who says the man HAS to support the woman? I remember Stephenie saying that Bella would have gone on to become a teacher; now, that's not the most glamorous job, but my sister-in-law works a job for similar pay, while my brother is a house-husband. (Though he is also a mechanic for hire; whenever vrienden of relatives need something worked on, they call him)

They get along fine, and are probably in about the same position B/J would be. Not living the rich life, but not worrying about losing their home.

Also, Billy's not completely unable to care for himself; there are things that he is still able to do (he just does them differently). And remember when Jacob ran away in Breaking Dawn? Jacob's obviously not the only one that cares enough about Billy to keep an eye on him.

It's a book! Plus, do u really think Renesmee would want to leave her family? I don't see that happening, so yeah, Jacob would hang out with the Cullens, play bodyguard. Who knows?

Yeah, it's book based on REAL facts & places. Yes but once Renesmee marries she won't stay with her parents for their per se 'honeymoon year's
