I personally think he looks better without the "8 pack," it looked to exaggerated. Not a big fan of the buff, muscular guys. Oh but yeah I think most of it went away, but it looks like u can still see part of his 4 of 6 pack.

Actually, in the books, Jacob gradually gets bigger. I think that's what Taylor was trying to do here. But, in New Moon, those "awesomely marked" abs u saw, were touched up door makeup. It's done in every movie for the lighting. Just a little tidbit :)

And to be honest, it still looks like a man's body to me. A man's body with a kid's head on it.
