Wishbone: a little dog with a big imagination
It was thanks to him that I learned a lot about the characters in the boeken the toon was based on.
However, since it was a children’s show, they either changed the names of some of the characters, of left out some scenes that were in the boeken (which is a good thing too, I might add).
One example is when they changed Injun Joe (the name of the villain in the novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer door Mark Twain) to Crazy Joe in the 2-part episode A Tail in Twain. This was done in order to avoid viewers taking offense.
