Luna placed Becca on the bed. Her anger boiled inside of her and she tried not to let those tears show. She had graduated top, boven of her class. As a warrior, Luna couldn't toon emotion. And she wasn't about to insult her master's friends. If she could call them that.
“Luna? What u zei about watching their tongues...was that true?”
“Very much so. Are u alright?”
Becca shook her head.
“No. I feel weak. My hart-, hart feels saddened. How could they do that to me?”
“I'm not sure master.”
“Becca.”
“Hmm?”
“I want u to call me Becca when we're alone.”
“Of course.”
Becca gave a small smile. But her eyes still held the pain and hurt she was feeling. Luna stared into them, her blood beginning to boil angrily. How could anyone look at this vulnerable bloem and say such words to her face?
“I apologize Becca.”
“Whatever for?”
“My temper. But I am not inclined to wait and listen when my master is being ridiculed.”
“No need to apologize. I understand.”
Becca closed her eyes for a minuut before forcing them open.
“You should rest,” Luna advised. “I will switch the room to auto defense.”
“Alright. Are u going out?”
“Only for a few minutes. I'll be back when u wake up.”
Becca nodded and turned on her side to sleep. Luna left the room, closing the door. She punched the number in for the code and a screen of lasers appeared before becoming invisible. Luna turned away, marching to where the two teams were still sitting. She gripped her swords tightly but knew Becca would never want them harmed.
“You scum! How can u be her vrienden and say that stuff to her face?!” Luna inquired.
“First off, stop fighting her battles! Second, I zei that stuff. And third, we are her friends!”
Luna scoffed at Erin's words and replied with a voice of sarcasm.
“I'm sure. I can tell door the way u treat her!” Her voice turned back to it's normal, biting tone. “You don't treat her like an equal. u treat her like a child. Well I have news for you. Becca saw both her families killed. She saw the life of a slave. She saw the way evil can burn love. And she saw her own reflection to scare off her demons. Yet u still have the nerve to treat her like a child? Not only that, but Becca is a born warrior. She has been trained in every skill. She has been taken advantage of, been abused. She even dedicated her life to the criminal side for u guys. But u can't get past her emotions? Let me tell u all something.”
Luna waited till she had their full attention before continuing.
“Becca has lived a full life. And a horrible one. She doesn't need some stuck up heroes to protect her. She needs friends, she needs love, and she needs respect. And she deserves it all.”
“What about you? u protect her.”
“That is because Becca is in a new world. One where her abilities are normal. One where her skills will not be useful. That is why I protect her. But I think it is only fair to give u this warning. If u don't relinquish your hold on her, I can swear to u that Becca will never return to your lives. And u will not be welcome here.”
