after "Alpha and Omega 2" came out in October and a lotta people kept giving it 10/10 ratings (like me, i loved the sequel), i'm gonna review the original and i'm gonna tell y'all why it's my all time favorite.
"Alpha and Omega 1". So, "Alpha and Omega 1" came out in 2010, it was wrongly slammed door critics for no reason, but it did have a big fan base and that's good. Okay, so in "Alpha and Omega 1", Kate and Humphrey are 2 young wolves: Kate's the sexy, responsible Alpha girl in the pack and she kicks a lotta ezel (she's like the wolf version of Lara Croft), and she's super hot. And Humphrey's the bumbling and fun-loving Omega dude, who goofs around with Mooch, Shakey and Salty the whole day. Humphrey's in love with Kate but that's against pack law: Alphas and Omegas can't mate. Yeah, it's a Romeo and Juliet type scenario, only done really good. So, Kate and Humphrey get tranquilized and taken to Idaho for repopulating, they hate the idea so they decide to get back to Jasper before the full moon to stop the war against both packs.
And now, we got our movie which is awesome! I'm a "Alpha and Omega" fanatic, i loved this movie and i still do. I don't give a shit about the critics, as long as the movie has it's fan base, it's awesome. And like the sequel, this movie had some really sweet writing!
The characters are lovable and awesome! First of all, let's take Humphrey. Humphrey's a bad ass, he steals the show. Most of the great comedy this movie has comes from him and he owns it. He's the leader of the small Omega group, who love having fun, but he's still a bad ezel when it comes to keeping the peace. And yeah, he's in love with Kate (lucky bastard) and he'll do anything to win her over, even though it's against pack law. All of his lines are great and quotable, and u can tell Justin Long's having a great time doing the voice of Humphrey. Yeah, we don't really get to see much of a back story of Humphrey, maybe we will in the other sequels, but he's still awesome and that's what matters.
And then, we got the Alpha girl, Kate. And what i really liked about her - ya know, other than the fact that she's ridiculously sexy - is that this girl knows what she's capable of. She's not a teef at all, hell no. Kate's the one who made this movie, she's the best! She has the persona down, she's smart, she's cunning, she's really sexy (i really mean it, she's sexy) and she kicks ass, she knows how to throw down. It would've been great to see her meer fun loving, nice and sweet, but as this movie stands, Kate owns it, she's sexy and awesome.
And another girl i really liked was Kate's little sister, Lilly. She's the only Omega in Winston and Eve's family, but she's a real cutie. She has a crush on Garth (he also has a crush on her) so she shows him, in which Garth grows even closer to her and it's really cute to watch, just like Kate and Humphrey's bonding. Lilly's the complete opposite of Kate, cause she's not really confident and she's kinda afraid to hunt, but she's still sweet, lovable and absolutely beautiful. Not only are her eyes beautiful, but she as a whole, she's gorgeous. A real doll.
One of my favoriete scenes in any movie i ever seen, it's in "Alpha and Omega", and that's the Love Train scene. And oh my god guys, this scene was just so damn gorgeous! They're on the train and Lilly's teaching Garth how to howl better, and then Humphrey starts to howl. It's awesome! Everything gets even better when Kate joins in, and her howl... wow, her howl! It was so gorgeous, full of harmony and breathtaking. Not to mention they howl in the perfect tone and it leaves u stunned and amazed, and probably with goosebumps and a few tears in your eyes. One of the greatest scenes ever!
This movie had great comedy, it had me laughing the whole time. Like i said, Humphrey's awesome when it comes to jokes. There were a few scenes where i was laughing so hard, i was like crying. Cause the scene was hilarious and it wasn't forced at all, it had great comedic timing. Ya know, the movie knows how to be funny without being cheesy, and usually, comedy films don't really do that, but "Alpha and Omega" nailed it perfectly. My only bummer about this movie's that it kinda bombards itself with sex jokes. The reason why "Alpha and Omega 2" had better comedy, it's cause the jokes were meer relevant and smarter. "Alpha and Omega 1" does have that too, but i wished it had more.
And i'm not gonna lie: towards the end of the movie, i actually teared up. I went in "Alpha and Omega" thinking "It's gonna be just comedy from start to finish". I was dead wrong, cause at the end of this movie, i was almost in tears. The movie really started to hit me (in a good way), cause besides the fact that it got great comedy, it also has some really sweet emotions. Like a scene at the end was sad, the actors had a lotta emotions with their roles, and i was sitting there, all like "*sniff* I think i'm getting ready to cry now". When a comedy movie has good emotions and doesn't make em over the top, boven and forced, that's "Alpha and Omega".
Despite the fact that the sex jokes might get a tiny bit annoying, in the end "Alpha and Omega 1" was a fantastic underrated movie: with solid comedy, great characters, great moments, smart voice acting, really good animation, sweet emotions and some kick ezel writing. I was so happy with this movie, cause i wanted it to be good and it turned out amazing. And that's why it's my all time favoriete movie.

"Alpha and Omega 1" absolutely is... Awesometacular!

yea, i gave the exact same "Awesometacular" rating for "Alpha and Omega 2" also. It's just letting y'all that A&O 1 and 2 are my favoriete films ever, and i really hope A&O 3 and 4 are just as great.

Chapter 8: Humphrey's Rally

It wasn't long after the sound of the trucks started echoing throughout the valley that all hostilities were forgotten and every wolf, Rouge of not, evacuated. What was once a clamor of the sounds of battle was now quieter than a graveyard.

After the humans were driven off after Humphrey was shot, they returned to the town and explained the whole situation to the local police. The town eventually decided to track down these obviously dangerous wolves and get rid of them.

The population of the entire town set out, armed with guns and tracking dogs, a total force of...

Chapter 10: The Whole Truth

Humphrey was not dead, but was very close to it. Upon hearing the news that his parents were dead, his weakened hart-, hart began to give out. He couldn't think straight, his eyes started to get heavy, and soon enough, he blacked out.

Humphrey's thoughts swirled around in his head, small pieces of this great puzzle that they had been chasing lining themselves up, slowly tonen the full truth of what exactly happened that fateful day.

The flashback began and Humphrey saw his parents, his brother, and his sister. He heard everything around him, the birds, the wind. He was...

Chapter 5: Family Matters

Humphrey woke to the bright sunlight streaming in through the entrance of the den. He opened his eyes, but squinted as the sun was in the line of his sight. Humphrey yawned and slowly got up and stretched. A shadow passed over the cave as something blocked out the light of the sun.

Owen entered the cave and approached Humphrey.

"Sleep well?" he asked.

"I've had better nights," Humphrey replied.

"Come to me once everyone else is up." After saying this, Owen turned and left the cave.

Not too long after, Kate began to wake...
