    Gwen’s phone is lifted from her fingers. She gasps and turns to see a tall, well-built man with golden blonde hair and a gorgeous smile dancing across the most gorgeous face she has ever seen staring down at her.
    “Terribly sorry, my finger must have slipped,” he says, his voice like dark red velvet. He grins at her.
    “Hi,” she finally manages, standing.
    Wow, she is really cute.
    “Well, I see u weren’t joking about being three apples high,” Arthur smirks at her. He looks up and sees a stuffed toy donkey on a shelf along the wall, perched among some other random toys. He realizes he is still holding her phone, so he hands it back.
    Her giggle is cut off when she reaches for her phone. Her fingers close over his, and Gwen suddenly feels warm all over. Arthur blinks in surprise and stares dumbly at their hands, both still clutching her phone.
    She looks up at him, smiling shyly, her warm brown eyes soft and beautiful. “Happy birthday, Arthur.”
