sportyshuie LORD HAVE MERCY!!! Finally after the torterous, heart wrenching, tear shedding, nail biting and sad episodes of the past, finally ... at last we are treated to the first arwen kiss. If this is what the kiss is like, it's well worth waiting for. The directors really made us wait for this, didnt they? And what a scene ... stupendously romantic! And what a sexy kiss that was! God ... i'm going to be having sweet dreams tonight!

kbrand5333 One other item: I hope both times he heard her call him "sire" in this scene he felt like he was being stabbed in the heart. She knows he hates that.

lv2rt They needed a quick scene where Merlin caught her in the hall, took whatever she had in her hand, gave her the pitcher and sent her to Arthur's room over her light objections. The would make it obvious he was in bed waiting for her and thinking about her much more poinant. And YES Ms. Gwen that was only a start. The bed is right there all warmed up and thangs...get at it, Arthur needs heirs. He, he.

EPaws @Linda - I agree. Sloppy editing. No segue to the obvious. @Kim - LOL! I hear ya. Such a tough job, feel for the poor dears, particularly the one with red ears and sweating up a storm lol. Oh and I swear to God, Angel wanted to laugh out loud when he pulled her to him. Her face just for a moment looked like she was going to smile. Fortunately he made better use of her lips quickly lol.

EPaws I have always loved their vocal ranges as well and just randomness. Guinevere has NEVER spoken like a peasant. I find that amusing. Her diction is clipped and well schooled and very toffy. LOL! Ah well, suspending disbelief time.

I can't sleep, I was lying in my bed thinking about arwen and the "sire" thing came to mind. stop telepathing!! arthur told gwen to stop calling her this. she did in S3, right? (in public it's a different thing). So it irritated me at first, they were alone. but I remebered, they had broke up and I think it was a kind of teasing and like you said Stacey, to keep distance. oh yes, it hurt him. another thing came to my mind concerning Bradley and Angel. But I fear this has to wait until...later ;)

EPaws Yes Rose, the dynamics had changed and she was getting her own back. She intended to walk in, place the item in question and get the hell outof Dodge. He knew this. He knows her. He calculated the approach and recited her words to her, but personalized them. She listened and then he checkmated her and dared her to countermand. Beautiful scene. Less is always more.

RosalynCabenson Noticed the look she shot at him when she came in and then lowered it? as if she needs a sec to gather herself and not to come at him. then answereing him with a smile that seems rather put on. yes, she wanted to get out there quickly. adorable, both of them. he was jsut waiting for her to come. yes, he knew she would.

DemurePrincess It's one of the best Arwen scene yet! Arthur's kissing shirt never fails I tell ya! I agree Ivr2t, a quick scene prior to Gwen entering would have been nice but the most important thing is the Arwen scene! Well worth the wait. Their body language shows they're becoming more and more comfortable with each other like real lovers. Kissing and teasing with each other is like second nature to them now.

HumbleQueen I can't believe I never commented on this video. I remember how excited we were that night when this aired. We were beside ourselves, and no wonder! I think it's many people's favorite. We need to have a tournament to pick the all time favorite pre-marital kiss at the Arwen club.

HumbleQueen I may be weird but I liked the 4x08 one better. There was something about the approach to it that struck a chord for me, as well as their facial expressions going into it...their smiles or something. And the coronation one was super special in its own right. But definitely, this one had the most heat. I go back and forth with which is my favorite. There has never been an Arwen kiss I didn't like and I tend to be a favorite of whichever one I happen to be looking at. Trying to think if I have a least favorite and can't. Now, the 4x12 hug is where it's at. Right, Kim, pre-marital, lol. I just got an idea for a fan pick. Hope I can get to it later.
