The enquête has closed, voting has officially stopped and now it's time to tell u who won our 16th Annual Year-End Readers' Poll.

Avril Lavigne inexplicably took two categories this year. She was voted Canada's sexiest woman, with 53 per cent of the votes, and her "Alice" won for best song, with 26 per cent.

LIGHTS put in some stiff competition for sexiest Canadian woman, racking up 32 per cent, but ultimately couldn't stop Lavigne from taking the category. Hedley's "Hands Up" made a late surge for best song, but it couldn't best Lavigne either, finishing with 15 per cent of the vote.

The wait is finally over, and all Avril Lavigne can say is: "What the Hell." That's the name of the first single from Lavigne's upcoming fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullaby, which is due March 8. The singer has been vocal about how long she's had to wait to get new muziek to her fans, and on the first salvo from the disc, u can almost taste her pent-up emotions.
