Highlight revealed how they came up with their official name on the March 19 broadcast of

"Member Dongwoon was the one who suggested \'Highlight\' at first. We all agreed on it in 5 minutes," the boys claimed.

B2ST\'s last album.  I had a poster of it lying on my kitchen table.  After seeing that, I asked my fellow members what they thought of \'Highlight\'."

Kikwang added, "We decided on \'Highlight\' since it was the most meaningful and it happened to be the title of our last album."

Good.  It\'s when they overthink that we end up with groups with a 5- or 6-letter long acronym that doesn\'t make any sense for a name.

Well I think that\'s a pretty good name for only 5 minutes of thinking. People come up with names like Voisper, Twice, Black Pink, Teen Top, Six Bombs, Bulletproof Boyscouts and worse (\'Im just talking about their names, not the groups themselves). Plus I think Highlight suits them.

I thought it sounded like the kind of name they put NO proper thought into. I was right.

If bangtan have taught us anything, it\'s that the name really doesn\'t matter.

I think bangtan have a cute name. and a cute jungkook with a cute voice. the rest of the group could really just go away for all I care, but those two things are pretty neat

well I don\'t agree with most things bts say or think, so its no surprise we disagree on the name. I don\'t care what they think, I\'m only interested in them for their Kook lol and I\'m not into him for his brain lol
