Michelle Watt a popular Scottish television host whose credits include \'60 Minute Makeover\', has been found dead in her Stirlinghsire home at the age of 38.
The broadcaster, the daughter of boxing legend Jim Watt, died at her home on Wednesday night.
Police have said that her death is not being treated as suspicious.
It is not the first tragedy to hit former world champion boxer Jim Watt. His son, also Jim, died in a road crash aged 17 in 1995.
Michelle, who lived with her car salesman husband Paul Kerr and five-year-old daughter Jaymi, presented a number of popular shows including Scottish television’s ‘The Hour’ and \'Club Cupid\', a short-lived Scottish dating show which Watt presented alongside Des Clarke.
Her Club Cupid co-host, comedian Des Clarke, led tributes from friends and colleagues to the popular presenter.
Absolutely shocked to hear of death of Michelle Watt. Lovely woman and a fantastic mum. Thoughts with her family and everyone who loved her.
Comedian and radio DJ Des Clarke, who hosted the dating show with her, tweeted:
So sad to hear about Michelle Watt. What a lovely person, a pleasure to know and work with. Just tragic. My heart goes out to her family.
Celebrity interior designers Colin and Justin also paid tribute on Twitter, saying: "Saddened beyond belief to hear of the passing of an old friend. RIP Michelle Watt. Taken at 38. Our thoughts are with Michelle\'s family xx."
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police in Forth Valley were called to an address around 6.15pm on Wednesday 24th June where the body of a 38-year-old woman was found.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
Her boxer father became world champion in the lightweight division in 1979 and has since worked as a commentator, currently with Sky Sports.
In October 1995, the youngest of Jim Watt\'s three children died in a car crash aged 17.
Speaking in 2010 about the death of Jim junior, he said: "It was a horrendous time, I wouldn\'t wish it on my worst enemy. It was just terrible and tragic."
