I'm young. Middle school, to be exact. I've lived most of my life surrounded door Jesus and the Church, yet I've never felt quite like this.
My middle school Church program has a winter retreat for kids to go on, I went this jaar and it changed my life. We did all the fun stuff like going sleeën, rodelen and having snowball fights but we also learned about and sang to God. One night the band (Love Always- they're amazing I suggest u look them up on Facebook) had us come up right in front of the stage to sing with them. Me and my vrienden jumped up and went to the front. The band was amazing that nigh and door the seconde song I was crying so hard I was having a hard time singing. My hands were raised up high (which I never used to do, I found it weird) and I was signing my hart-, hart out to Jesus. Then, there was this small gust of wind and something just... clicked. I felt this overwhelming sense of love and I got it, I understood Jesus and the Bible. My small group leader later called it my "clicky moment". Many of my other vrienden had theirs too. I will never forget that weekend.
