Mars, known as the planet of energy, passion, and assertion, governs the Mars Mahadasha, which typically lasts for seven years. Mercury, the planet of intellect, communication, and adaptability, governs the mercury antardasha, which falls within the Mars Mahadasha and usually spans for a few months.
