Damon & Elena Article: My beef with the 100th episode

So I just watched the 100th episode of TVD (I know I'm late but I've been busy) and there are a few things I would like to get off my chest. Feel free to voice out your opinions too. Katherine is still a selfish bitch. The last scene proved that she hasn't changed one bit nor has she learnt anything, that she can go to any lengths to save her 500 jaar old unapologetic ass! Up until 5x11 I didn't care what happened to her. She could die of she could live of she could ride off into the sunset with Stefan...I just didn't care but now...sorry to the people who love Katherine....but I think she should just DIE as in DIE and NEVER come back to life! Damon should've smothered her with that hoofdkussen, kussen when he had the chance! And I'm seeing a lot of hate towards Damon for tormenting her. I'm gonna defend Damon and not just because I'm a Damon Stan but because she deserved it. And when she did'nt die in the last scene I was like 'oh just die already!!'. I read somewhere that JP was originally planning for Katherine to die in that episode but Caroline Dries came with the stupid idea of a body swap and now I'm suddenly missing JP a lot. So the conclusion is that the whole Katherine redemption arc was a waste. A total waste. And Caroline Forbes isn't even worth talking about. She's a hypocrite and her hypocrisy makes me want to bang my head against the wall! So much for the 'epic' 100th episode...

thisthat12 I completely agree with everything you wrote. I can not understand why so many people love Katherine and hate Damon for abusing her. Like, she was the one who abused him for his entire life! Why doesn't anyone remember this?! They all act like she's some kind of innocent angel or an abused victim. I can't even. I also am so mad with a lot of the fandom using feminism to hate on Damon and victimize Katherine. Katherine abusing Damon? That's fine. Damon abusing Katherine? No what an abuser how can he do that to poor little Katherine. I'm really sorry if I offended anyone here, but I really needed to get this off my chest.

panther-jewel I basically agree with both of you! And it was especially bad for a 100TH EPISODE! I don't even count Katherine as a real main character (Damon, Elena, Stefan) that needed to be the center of such a milestone of the show.

TVDDelena1 I agree 100% with everyone here...I honestly thought the 100th episode was the worst out of all the episodes this season. And that's a lot to say since practically all of them sucked! I also hate Katherine with all my heart...Why couldn't they just let her die? When I thought she was about to die, I was getting teary eyed. It was such a beautiful scene. Then all of a sudden this B**** pulls a stunt like that. If the whole Julie wanting kat to die and Caroline Dries body switch thing is true, then Caroline Dries needs to be fired ASAP. because she's a terrible writer.

Damon looked around in the building, when he saw a silhouette. He rushed towards it and grabbed Veronica door her throat and lifted her from the ground. He threw her inside the fourth room where the brand had started and locked the door. He heard her scream, but ignored it.

Veronica ordered them to stop in front of a stake. In the center there was a big pole where they were being tied onto.
“Where’s Elena?” Damon begged to know.
“She’s with her brother” Veronica replied.
“Don’t hurt her. She’s sick” Damon appealed.
“She’s just a girl. It’s not her fault she’s the doppelganger. She wouldn’t hurt a fly. She’d sacrifice herself for her loved ones anytime” Stefan tried to reason with Veronica.
“Shut up, both of you. She’s responsible for Tyler’s transition to a hybrid. It’s a good thing he was the only hybrid ever created”...

A couple of hours later Veronica unchained Damon. “Don’t even think about running” she zei threatening. She opened the door and three of her minions appeared. They cuffed Damon’s hands and feet and when Damon looked up he saw Stefan, Katherine and Caroline were all chained onto each other. Veronica’s minions dragged Damon vooruit, voorwaarts and chained him onto the rest.
“Now, walk” Veronica ordered. They wouldn’t verplaats and thus Veronica nodded at one of her minions. He fired a bullet and Katherine screamed.
