Damon Salvatore was in the living room drowning his silent sorrows and soundless grief in alcohol, staring at the fire. His hart-, hart broken, his soul wounded door the words that escaped the two women’s lips, women who he forever loved and forever will love, their words proclaimed and claimed Stefan, Saint Stefan, as their own. “I never loved you. A knock on the door interrupted his thoughts .he got up angry to answer the door. But when he opened it he couldn’t believe his eyes; Elena was standing there, her eyes red and puffy from crying and her hair loose and disheveled.
“Hey,” she zei in a hushed voice, she sounded like she was about to cry.
“What do u want Elena??” he zei pretending not to care, pretending he wasn’t actually worried about her, even after what she zei to him.
“I’m sorry.” She zei he voice shaking and broken. All he wanted to do was take her in his arms and kiss away that sadness, but he couldn’t. “I understand if u don’t forgive me, because what I did, what I zei is unforgivable. But just hear me out, ok? After u left I was thinking about what u said…and you’re right…i do love you…but just…I don’t know what to do!”
He was in shock. He didn’t know what to say…how to react to what she just said. “Why?” he asked surprised that he could even make a word out.
“Why?! Because I’m with Stefan!! And I love him! But I love u too! And I don’t want to lose you! I know I’m stupid and selfish and that I should just let u go! Because u deserve better than this Damon! u should probably go..go and find your happy ending! But I don’t WANT u to go! Because I know I’ll miss you!! And I’ll miss u because I need you!! Don’t u see that Damon!?!? Don’t u get that?!!?”
Their lips touched, and the fireworks started, that brand that they have both tried so hard to ignore was burning inside them now, how can something that seemed so wrong to her moments geleden could feel so right now? They both knew this couldn’t last, so they cherish every moment that they can, until finally…
They wake up. They frown. They realized it was just a dream, and it hurt because of how much they wanted it to be real….
