What Are Your Thoughts On The New Movie "Tangled"?

YES FINALLY SOMEONE ASKED THIS vraag :D i really want to discuss this, here's my thoughts:

Now here's what I think, it's true that a lot of poeple r against the idea of the new 3D princess, but I think they're going to like the movie when it comes out very much.
the vragen is will they treat Rapunzel like the other princesses? I don't think so, I think she's going to be just like Giselle, Giselle has almost 20 minuten in her movie where she is in 2Ds, still that's no enough, everyone likes her, but recently no one even brings her name to this spot, the only true Giselle fan I know is "Lisaford" and she doesn't come here very often as far as I know.
I think Rapunzel will get the same treatment, everyone will like her but she won't climb the favoriete princess lijst to a lot of fanpopers, for me , 70% she is going to be my 2nd favoriete princess, and 30% the movie will disappoint my expectations and she won't be replacing any of the princesses, and I don't think a lot of people would share this opinion with me.

Now before anyone writes something like this commentaar (why did Disney loose their style and made a movie that looks like a Pixar movie)
take a look at the top, boven 10 films in the Box office now, HALF of them r films in 3D, some films r even being re-made to be released in 3D!(like TOY STORY 2)
Princess and the frog gained $267,039,315 "source: wikipedia" which is NOTHING compared to what Pixar films of some of Dreamworks films gain, this is a fact that all of us Disney fans have to deal with. not everyone want 2Ds like we do, and Disney has to catch up with the other studios....

after all, I'm really looking vooruit, voorwaarts to see this movie, and I'm sure it will be FANTASTIC, I just can't wait!

I love that they made her a princess and him an outlaw. I was just thinking a little while geleden that Aladdin seemed to be the only disney movie that I can think of that's like that. because in the original story isn't she just a maiden and the guy's a prince? anyway I always thought they should make a real movie about rapunzel sort of like robin-hood of something. but then I was thinking that would probably be a short and boring movie.

but this movie looks exciting they spiced it up. her hair is awesome and they make her do so many things with it, it's almost as if it has a mind of it's own. <3 it looks funny and cute. she's sassy and the guy is pretty good-looking. the tower looks beautiful. her little sidekick chameleon guy is cool. and I simply can't wait!=)

and as far as the 3D goes well I hate the burden of the glasses it's mostly irritating but at the same time it's cool to see the effects. so either way it's fine

I think the movie looks adorable, having grown up in the 90's I am not to keen on CGI princesses. But I dont mind one of two but it better not become the norm. I hope there are meer 2D movies/princesses on the horizon. The only thing I seem to have a problem with is the titel " Tangled" they are trying to buy off little boys because they think that Princess and the frog didnt do good enough when it Made 270,000,000 dollars plus DVD sales. Having not had a 2D movie in a while that is exceptional. So I see this as a cheap gimmick and kind of sexist changing the name. But whatever....I still think it looks cute.

Thanks Hindaa and yeah I do love Enchanted and Giselle as it brings back my memories and its nice to see a movie that brings back lots of fond Tangled.I saw the trailer for it in the princess & the frog dvd and I thought it looked ok. She reminds me of Giselle in a way except she's alot younger and she doesn't turn into a flesh blooded version of herself. I'll probably get the DVD of it soon(tangled) when its released in 2011.
