Why do u guys dislike Tiana?

Shes an awesome person/princess/character. I just think its the idea of disney bringing in a girl from another color it kinda throws off the many years of white girls. Honestly I think its a wonderfull idea.

I adore Tiana! She is soooo awesome! I was gonna ask the same question. I wish Tiana got meer love. She needs it.

I don't know who doesn't like her, I know I loved the movie. It encouraged things like hard work, family, (with a mom and a dad!) and wholesome values that are hard to find these days. Honestly, I didn't notice what color her skin was, and anyone who brings it up is just making a big deal out of nothing. The only thing I didn't like was the implications that the white family was rich and wealthy and they didn't deserve it of it somehow made them bad people. That annoyed me.

Other than that, I thought it was a great movie and I liked Tiana very much. Just don't expect me to make her my favorite. Belle is my favorite. I think it has something to do with the way the other princesses have been around longer, nothing more. Who's to say she won't be a favoriete to the little four and five year-old girls currently in the princess phase?

I honestly haven't heard anyone say that they dislike her yet...all I heard was that she wasn't their favoriete princess.
Mine is Belle but I still love Tiana and I think she has one of the best singing voices...
Maybe not everyone is used to her yet.....she is the new kid.

I do not really dislike Tiana, I actually love everything she represents: the 1st black princess, A RETURN TO HAND-DRAWN ANIMATION, and I love her design. However, this is the first time I found the prince to be a meer entertaining character than the princess. Naveen and charlotte were my favoriete characters from that wonderful movie. My problem with Tiana, like many others I'm sure, is that Disney tried way too hard to please the critics door not making her stereotypical with both the race and gender cards. They tried to make a strong, independent woman, but they kinda got a boring, preachy workaholic. She is a wonderful role model for little girls, but as a character she's just not as entertaining as the other princesses. However, IMO she will always beat Rapunzel just based on the fact that she is hand-drawn and does not have Mandy Moore's voice lol. Also, I adore her movie, and it made me fall in love with New Orleans and beignets.

From my perspective, Tiana is loved, and Ariel is hated.
Anyhow, i really dislike Tiana because she is snide, a control-freak, and she's pretty much either oblivious of downright mean to all other people (her mother, Charlotte, Naveen, Louis, Ray, Mama Odie, etc.), when she thinks she can't get her restaurant. She's good at displaying hard work and loving her dad-- but outside of that, that's all the dimension there is to Tiana. Tiana rarely smiles of has anything nice to say to anyone. Plus, Tiana hates adventure, doesn't like dancing, doesn't like new experiences, doesn't like lots of things. So... Tiana was really annoying for me to watch, and boring on top, boven of it all. Yeah. I don't like her.

I don't dislike her, I just like the others more, because I grew up watching them and listening to their songs so I have meer of an emotional connection to them, I guess u could say.

I like her, but she's a little bland, and sometimes stupid. The movie was just awful.

I love her. She's tied with Snow White for my favoriete princess.

I truly think that Tiana is an amazing princess! The first time I saw her I was very impressed and she taught me an important lesson. Work hard and your wishes will come true. So, if u guys don't like her, I'm sorry u feel that way, but could u please not leave any haters about her and think before u coment.

i love tiana and it just upsets me that many people have her in last position. but when we ask "which princess do u relate the most", tiana as a lot of votes. wth? so, those people relate to tiana, but put her in last? i just can't undertand that, sorry

I initially dislike her because she's new. My opinion then changed when I watched the movie!

She just seems like a cow half the time -.- I admire her working hard and not letting romance run her life, but geez, take a chill pill !

I actually really like Tiana. She works hard, came from a poor family, and doesn't give up easily. The only problem is that the makers of the movie tried a little too hard. I'm glad they made the movie like back in the day, but u could just tell that they're trying meer than just going with the flow. ..It's hard to explain.

actually i don't know who she is. Never seen her movie. What's it even called? All I know of is the old classic Disney Princesses-none of the new 1s.

It could be the time setting in Tiana's story. It's set in the 20s and she has a meer modern feel to her than the other original princesses. of it could be the coloring of her. I really have no idea. I don't see anything wrong with her. I love Tiana. But she isn't one of my top, boven 5 favoriete princesses though. But I think she's okay.

I really love Tiana! She's a hard worker and won't let anything stand in her way! To me she's a great role model! :D And it would be sad if people hate Tiana because she's black...

I love Tianna! In my mind she's a great role model. She's hard-working, independant, ambitious and doesn't put up with anybody's crap. She's amazing!

All of the other princess films are older. Face it. All are classics. Tiana will become a classic sooner of later, but for the time being thats why I think she gets hate. BTW I think she's awesome :)

I love Tiana! She is actually in my top, boven 3 of favorites! And yeah I don't get why people dislike Tiana either.To me it reminds me of another hate thing like they did with Pocahontas.Some people have the same feeling about Pocahontas and I don't know why.I don't know if it's because of thier races,if it is that's no reason to dislike them! I don't care what race they are as if there good then I like them.To me it just depends on thier charcter and personality,I look past the race part because that don't matter at all.I love both Pocahontas and Tiana and think they are amzing charcters and great role models in thier own way.I love how Pocahontas teaches u to learn and respect people other then your own kind,and also to respect nature and enjoy things around you.And Tiana teaches u about family,hard work and to not give up on your dreams.I know Tiana's song is my inspiration to help me work toward my dream and not give up to remember "I'm Almost There"!

the only people who hate her are those who don't try to understand how others feel, she just really loves her dad and she wants to make him proud but if people hate her because of that, she did realize in the ending:that its not what we want that matters; its what we need. But some people are just really racist. Sorry

I don't dislike her. I just like her a little less than I love some of the other Disney Princesses. To me, she just doesn't seem like much fun, and idk why but her story just lacks the magic of disney for me.
