Definitely not Rapunzel; she'd be one of the few to get along at all with her.

Merida would misjudge Cinderella immediately as a doormat who has no backbone. She wouldn't get why she never stands up to her step-family and hate that she's so traditionally feminine, soft-spoken, and calm. Between her and the other classics, it'd have to be Cindy, because at least the other two like the outdoors and Snow White is also outspoken and a bit sassy.

Then Belle, because they don't get much more opposite in interests and attitude!

Merida doesn't like perky people, and Snow is perky.

^well so are ariel and rapunzel.

Belle likes indoors stuff, doesnt go off an adventures and has manners. nuff said!

For me it's aurora or snow white, because neither of them had to fight for their beliefs. The other's all had some kind of moral story or principle. :)

Merida wouldn't get a lot with a lot of the girls.
Aurora she would find her boring and daydreaming about men in her dreams.
Snow White she would find silly and immature
Cinderella a loser for not standing up for herself
Belle loser for not going outside
Tiana would hate Merida for being awful to her parents.
Rapunzel Merida would dislike for not going out without her mother knowing
Ariel and Merida are like twins
Mulan and Merida would get along okay
Pocahontas would just laugh at Merida for being brave yet not getting along with animals so well.

I guess....or Cinderella,Rapunzel and Snow White.

Merida just wouldn't understand why is Aurora acting that way, instead of opposing everybody around her!

Because she's the stereotypical damsel in distress boring princess and represents everything Merida hates

^Ok, I'm gonna get something straight about Aurora (but also Snow White, Belle, and the other princesses). I'm just gonna quote Swanpride for this: "Honestly, NO Disney Princess was EVER a damsel in distress...that's, in my opinion, a female character who stands around a screams uselessly, while the hero fights the villain. You can hardly fault someone for being asleep when the big fight happens, or otherwise taken out of commission. A damsel is someone who doesn't act even though he or she could, and who ends up in danger due to her own stupidity (which is why Jasmine comes the closest IMHO), not someone who can't turn into a superhero when faced with someone much more powerful."
Stereotypical princess, maybe. But stereotypical damsel in distress? NO. And if any Disney princess is boring, it's Merida.

Aurora is exactly the person Merida doesn't what to be. Aurora put her duty first before her own pleasures and Merida wants to gain her freedom. She wouldn't see Aurora's actions in a positive light and will find her too inactive.
