They haven't really stuck with me the first time I saw the movie. That could change though. They feel more forced than Philip and Aurora to me, anyway

Since when are people madly in love with these two couples? With Aurora and Phillip I kind of understand because pretty much everyone just loves them because they're from the classic era and feel they have the obligation to respect them. Although I'm getting annoying about how people are complaining that Ariel and Eric just like each other for looks and voice when they're exactly the same but are WORSE because they have less screen time together, don't get to know each other, didn't even learn each others names, have no chemistry, don't even have a real conversation together, get married after having like five lines of dialogue together, don't speak to each other when they see each other again, and are completely undeveloped!

I'm surprised people love Anna and Kristoff since they have no development either. They just fight, Kristoff even says he could live with it if she died, their romance comes out of no where, just because the trolls sing about how they should be together they decide they're in love, have no chemistry, and seem more like mutual friends at best and that's just barely.

^I don't know what is with you thinking everyone will just like eveything from the classic era. Really, people usually hate the classics. I love Aurora/Phillipe because I think they suit each other well, among other things.

^Where? I already use glasses, and I don't see it. I'm not being sarcastic, I really don't see it. I love the classics because I really like that era in general above the others, I think the movies have more magic (even if I like some movies of the Renaissance more).

I see them all the time sweetie-94, dclairmont, dimtri_, hatelarxene, you, etc. I hardly see any Renaissance or Modern Disney Princess lovers.

^ No, there are plenty Modern and Renaissance lovers too. But people putting the first three first because they are 'Classics' are everywhere, and the Classic era definitely has more fans than some say..

Katara_Lover - All these people you talked about like the classics for their personalities, and don't have all three in the top 3. Second, the Classic era got in last place in the Best Era Countdown I did. Modern got first and Renaissance second. With all due respect, you must be the one needing glasses, because there has been a flood of Modern fans lately.

Personally the first three princesses being "classics" have nothing to do with why they're high on my list, and I don't think that that's why other people on this club have them high either. I love Snow White because she's optimistic, kind, cheerful, bossy, a bit insecure, wants to be loved due to her childhood, ect. I love Aurora because she's dreamy, sarcastic, shy, but can be comfortable around people she loves, metaphorical, and more. I love Cinderella because she's kind, dreamy, sarcastic, stays optimistic despite her situation, and I find her to be one of the funniest of all the princesses. I don't care that they're "old" or "classic", I find them charming, sweet, and think they have amazing personalities. There are plenty of people that love the Renaissance Era on here as well, with the majority of people still having their favorite princess from that era, namely Mulan or Belle, and the Modern Era obviously is the most liked here now due to all the new people that have came recently. I've seen at least three people with an all modern top 5. Yes, the classics have gained fans, but just because someone likes something someone else doesn't like doesn't mean it's for a bad reason, it just means they see things from a different POV. Btw I'm not trying to bash anyone or change anyone's opinions, I'm just justifying myself.

I think what KataraLover is saying is that the Classics are not as underrated as people say. And really, people have always been complaining about how underrated they are, which is understandable! And I see some people placing classics higher on their lists as a ''token''.

^I don't think they're underrated in Fanpop anymore. But out of Fanpop, they are. And I never saw a list where they were placed higher as a token (but I'm fairly new here).

Yeah, I definitely think that the classics have gained A LOT of fans recently, and I'm sure that some people may actually put the classics higher just to be "cool" or "Oh-I'm-different" sort of thing, but I was just explaining why I personally have them up high, and how I could care less about the era and why I individually like each of their personalities.

Outside of Fanpop but still on the Internet you mean? Because outside the Internet, the Classics are very much appreciated and praised IMO, among critics, merchandise and all. I know a lot of people who have Cinderella as their favorites. Anyway, not trying to start anything. I do agree with you too dclairmont, I was just explaining KataraLover's point of view (if that was his point of view).

^I mean with the Disney fans. Just look at fanfiction, tumblr. Yes, Cinderella is the most popular in general, but with the Disney fans the favorite is always Ariel, Belle, Rapunzel... I understand that some characters appeal more, but it gets a bit repetitive.
