it doesnt melt for the same reason the ice castle doesnt melt.

I get how the castle and dress wouldn't melt on the mountain (because Elsa would be freezing) but in the end and it's summer again Olaf melted so why not her dress?

Also how does she get from a sunny kingdom to a snow capped mountain so fast

Her ice powers. She created an eternal winter during summer and a personal flurry to keep Olaf from melting once she brought summer back. I think she can maintain her dress with the same magic she uses to maintain ice, snow, and Olaf in summer.

Maybe because she's surround by snow everywhere. Her castle is on a top of a mountain, a very cold mountain. It has lots of ice and snow. Basically it's a fridge and there is no heat. Why would it melt I a cold weather?

BUT OMG I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE. Lol, but that's just how it is ;) the magic of Disney.

It's kind of like how does Rapunzel's hair stay so clean from dragging on the ground? How does Pocahontas' hair stay so perfect when it's being blown around by wind all the time? How does Mulan wipe off layers of makeup with just two wipes of her sleeve? It's Disney, anything be possible!

It's magic, Elsa can decide whenever it melt or not. I wonder what happened her coronation dress, it just disappeared.

I think her dress is not melting because she's wearing, and she's the Snow Queen.
