Certainly not the most well-developed character ever but she does develop. The thing is that her character development was done with her facial expressions and not her words. People need to read her facial expressions. She does realize what she's did was stupid and that she made a mistake, along with learning to appreciate her dad more. Plus she has a three-dimensional personality.
