Layered skirts being underskirt petticoat or more than one (as shown in the next scene), plain white skirt, pink skirt and then over layer skirt of the same pink material held together by two bows and a small sash.

Another mistake is the collar. It appears to be several layers of lace at first, but then changes to just be puffy white fabric later.

I'm not really a fan of this dress at any point. I don't like the shade of pink, and it's just too frilly for me. This version is the best. It would have been cool with an asymmetrical drape like this.

Eh, I don't even realize if her mother's pink dress has various shades of pink...But I love her dress in this image.
