I would be interested in a show about Aurora's life with her aunts growing up as a little girl. Plus, it would be a good way to actually give her some personality, which she really lacks in the original movie.

I had the same thought, a series about her life as Briar Rose would be kinda sweet.

For the past couple of years, I've thought it'd be nice if Disney released separate shorts of princesses and heroines celebrating holidays and/or getting into the spirit of each season. Like, little montages where they don't speak -- at least "Walt's Three," since I'd only want to hear their original voice actresses, as neat as their cameos in WiR2 were -- but we're still able to witness glimpses into their everyday lives *after* "happily ever after" 😌 💗

No, they wouldn't do the original animation justice.

I seriously doubt it would be good.

Honestly... It would never do justice to the original, beginning with the animation and the music. And then there's the fact that I really, really think the plot of this movie doesn't lend itself to sequels. It's a straightforward fairy tale, they told what was there to be told and "they lived happily ever after". 'Nuff said.

Oh, and about her life as Briar Rose: is that really material for a series? She lived her whole life isolated with only three other people and a bunch of forest critters. Nothing that interesting happened besides the fairies bumbling with the trials of mortal life.
