Both, but the evil queen is more interesting to watch on screen, even though I love Snow White as a character.

Evil Queen's character had some depth. I liked her parts more than Snow White's.

I picked her over Snow White because of how I read the book called Fairest of All: A Tale of the Wicked Queen by Serena Valentino. It shows her more as a three-dimensional and complex character that actually ADORED Snow White and her father. Unfortunately, her life was doomed for tragedy and to become a wicked and vain woman thanks to three witches. I HIGHLY recommend the book, for those of you who haven't read it. Unfortunately, Valentino's other works with stories about Disney villains (Along with the Beast/Adam) aren't very good. The one about Beast was just PAINFULLY awful!

I actually like the little nuances in Snow White, how her assertiveness gets her in trouble (scolding the animals trying to warn her about the evil queen in disguise) and out of trouble (taking an initiation and devising a plan for survival)

I do like Snow White, but I don't think her character is a particularly interesting one. The Evil Queen's wickedness, while abhorrent, is also quite interesting.
