I can appreciate Disney's reasons for adding her and I think personality and movie wise she fits all right but she simply is not a princess in any sense, so it might be a shame but I wouldn't be tearing out my hair or anything. I'd rather have, like, a Korean fairy tale turned into a movie so we can have an official Asian princess (even though you know the bulk of Mulan fans would criticize her for taking their waifu's place). posted een jaar geleden. last edited een jaar geleden

I would be annoyed: Sure, she wasn't married into royalty but I ignore the sequel and believe in possibility that she and Shang didn't get along with each other because I hate them as a couple. I prefer to think that Mulan found her true love after events of movie and probably he even turned out to be actual royalty( no, I don't dislike Shang because he isn't royalty). I just hate the fact that one of two things that prevents Mulan from being princess is my least favorite thing about her: her love interest. posted een jaar geleden.
