i said specifically not to assume, to judge by their actions and yet belle is still being voted. just cos she reads doesn't mean she's smart. those of you who are voting for belle, could you plz explain why you think she's smart? what did she do that was smart? if no one has a legitimate reason, then that's just proof that people are automatically voting for their favourite

Are we talking about being book-smart or being wise? Two different things. I assumed from the way you asked the question you meant 'wisest'

I don't see how Jasmine is that smart. She nearly got her hand chopped off - she has no street smarts or common sense.

I think that people vote for Belle not only because she is their favorite and she reads often, but because she is witty. She has many intelligent retorts to the Beast, Gaston, etc.

In just actions alone, I would say Mulan and Pocahontas.

kateliness2: wisdom is the best form of intelligence, so the wise people are always the smartest ones. Jasmine is smart. The reason she lacked a bit of common sense was because of naivety, she had never been out independently before, so that's excusable. She couldn't be fooled by aladdin and his disguise and she's quite cunning, so she is very smart.

I just realize that my comment above comes off as very nasty, lol. I don't mean that I think that Jasmine is stupid - far from it, actually. I think she is quite witty, but I wouldn't consider her to be near the top when it comes to wisdom. Wisdom, I think comes from a deep understanding of life and acceptance of yourself, which is a big reason as to why I consider Pocahontas to be one of the most wise. Jasmine has a lot going for her, but is unsure of herself, deep down; this probably comes from her lack of freedom - she was never able to make her own decisions.

All of the princesses are smart in their own way, but Pocahontas is very wise and smart. Belle is smart in that she reads books and is good at communicating with the beast. Jasmine and Aurora and both good in that they can read emotions very well, though I do think they are both naieve in a way. I think that Ariel is the most naieve in all of these, but only because in The Little Mirmaid she is shown mostly on land. When she was underwater she was smart with her friends and helped Flounder out of some situations. Cinderella is also good with her friends, and is kind to people who may not be so kind to her. Mulan is the same as Pocahontas in that she has street smarts and is not afraid to speak for herself and find true love in a bad situation. I think that Snow White is smart in that she can think for herself and is not afraid to clean for someone and go into their house.

i say Jasmine, she was not fooled by Aladdin's disguise and knew how to trick him into revealing who he was. plus she cleverly distracted jafar.

Who voted for Snow White she ate a poisen apple but I think Ariel because she managed to escape a shark their all smart though even Snow White

Pocahontas definitely.
Belle may read books but Pocahontas knows that you shouldn't judge by the colour of your skin or wear you come from.
Pocahontas is by far the wisest of all the Princesses.

Mulan...she is very witty...also Jasmin, belle, Pocahontas
