One other thing I love in this movie, is when Jafar keeps calling Prince Ali Prince Abubu :D So funny!

I LOVE this part, also Meeting Genie, & Street Rat. I cry at this the street rat scene though when he sings: "Rift raft. Street rat. I don't buy that. If only they'd look closer, would they see a poor boy? No sir'e. They'd find out, there's so much more to me..." </3 It's just so heartbreaking to me.

Riff raff, street rat, I don't buy that, if only they'd look closer, would they see a poor boy? No siree. They'd find out...there's so much more to me......." It's my favorite scene because it relates so much :'(

Also a Whole New World, Prince Ali (adore this musical number to bits!) and meeting Genie. But the choosing scene is everything that makes this movie so perfect. Here is Jasmine who fought untill the end to be able to marry for love, here is Aladdin who used to be insecure to the point where he constantly pretended to be someone he was not but who eventually realized that pretending wouldn't change anything and would only make him move backwards in his evolation as a person so he decides to give his last wish to Genie and set him free - a boy who had nothing gave up his only chance to have everything. And he still gets what he desired but not due to magic but due to being himself which is a wonderful message.

I picked the scene where Aladdin and Jasmine meet even though it's only my second favorite. I like their meeting scene because it really establishes something real and substantial as the basis for the couple's relationship.

My favorite scene isn't on the list. It's the scene after "A Whole New World" when Jasmine tricks Aladdin by asking about Abu. Just when you think it's going to be a sweet romantic moment, Jasmine instead gets mad at him for lying to her! I love it! "Did you think I was stupid?" Aladdin so deserved it! I also hate this scene, because Aladdin gets out of it with an even bigger lie...which works. :/

I don't know how you girls view that scene, but speaking as a guy, I really expected Jasmine to act sweet to Aladdin upon confirming that "Prince Ali" was actually the street rat she fell in love with. That's the way a guy's mind thinks. We just simplistically think that way. But the reality is that Aladdin's lie really was an insult to Jasmine's intelligence, so her reaction was realistic and Aladdin really deserved it.

But I should warn you girls...sometimes it's better to just go along with when a guy doesn't do everything perfectly while trying to have a romantic moment. Someone I know spoiled her first kiss, her first time, her proposal, because...well, just trust me. If a guy is trying, try to just go along with it even if it's not absolutely perfect. You can always get mad at him later, but you'll never have another chance at a perfect first time. Never.
